Children are my specialty, I have two of my own. I substitute teach in PWCS for 3 yrs, and plan on getting my teaching certification in Art within the next year or sooner. Dancing and singing are two of my most favorite activities, though I enjoy playing soccer, basketball and hockey. I plan to write a book one day about my military experience in Afghanistan as a Journalist. Enjoying my life experiences with children is amazing. I have been taking care of children my whole life. Spending time outdoors, playing, chalk drawing and learning about nature are a few more fun things I enjoy, especially this time of year. Currently dog sitting, child care and carpooling children in my community and substitute teaching fill my current resume. It would be nice to have the flexibility to be home and/ available for my two elementary children. Childcare will still enable me to do so. This type of childcare would also give me a regular schedule, instead of being torn in 8 other directions, and Substituting two days a week, if I choose will still be an option. I have plenty of references. I have a current background and child abuse check, I am also finger printed.
