About Karlene

I'd describe my personality as patient, friendly, and adaptive! I like working with kids because I find a passion in promoting growth and caring for others. I'm looking for a job that I am able to help others and continue learning. I started working with kids when I volunteered as a church camp counselor as a senior in high school. I continued working with autistic children in a clinic setting and coaching 10-12-year-old girls fast-pitch softball after graduating with my bachelor's degree in 2025. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, play slow pitch softball, read, bake, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I am in my graduate program in counseling and I have interest in working with children.
