About Karla

Hello! My name is Karla, and I live in Kearny, NJ. I'm a caring and reliable person with years of experience as a nanny, and I also love working with animals. All the families I worked for had pets, so I'm very used to being around them and caring for their needs. I also had a Golden Retriever for 14 years, and back in my home country, Brazil, I grew up surrounded by dogs, macaws, little birds, chickens, and ducks. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, light grooming, giving medications, and of course providing love and attention. I enjoy keeping pets active with walks, playtime, and enrichment activities. I can help with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight sitting, cat care, and even small animals. Families describe me as trustworthy, responsible, and attentive. I'm fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, a non-smoker, with reliable transportation, and CPR/First Aid certified.
