About Karla

I'm an experienced caregiver with a passion for supporting families and creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. My journey in childcare began with previous babysitting roles, where I discovered the joy of nurturing and positively impacting children's lives. My approach to childcare is centered around patience, creativity, and open communication with parents. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and prefer to communicate about a child's day or any issues that arise, either verbally at pickup or through regular updates via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of various ages, ranging from infants to preteens. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. In addition to my experience, I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I also have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets.
