About Karla

My love for working with the elderly and making a difference in someone's life is what drives me as a caregiver. I spent 12 years in a Hospital Rehab and Senior Living Facility as a salon manager and Cosmetologist. This led me to my current caregiving career. My many years of experience have solidified my passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. I strive to create a comfortable environment, and I'm known for my patient, compassionate, and friendly approach. I communicate regularly with families through verbal updates, and texts or phone calls. I'm experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I can assist with transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I have some college education, and I'm certified in CPR and First Aid. Knowing I can bring a little ease and joy to someone's day makes this work incredibly rewarding.
