About Karla

At 43 years of age, I have many years of experience caring for people ranging in age from newborn to 99 years old. I have a passion for helping others and have cared for more people than I can count over the past 20 years. I am CPR and 1st aid certified. I have worked with the State for the past several years in helping care for persons with varying degrees of disabilities. Through my continuing education, I have learned the Positive Behavior Support method and maintain CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) training. I started doing child care at the age of 12. Most of my younger years were spent caring for family members including a set of infant twins. I am an educated, fun-loving, honest, and determined mother of 2. I have fostered in the past. Helping people is who I am. I am always eager for the next opportunity.
