About Karla Joy

Hello! My name is Karla and I'm a compassionate and dependable caregiver with experience caring for seniors in both memory care and hospital settings. I truly enjoy helping others and making a positive difference in their daily lives. I previously worked in Memory Care in The Woodlands, where I assisted residents with personal care, dressing, bathing, feeding, and mobility. I loved keeping residents engaged through conversation and meaningful activities. Currently, I work as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital, where I assist nurses with patient care, helping patients with their daily needs and making sure they're safe & comfortable. I'm CPR certified, bilingual (English and Filipino), and known for being hardworking, patient, and reliable. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with my family-especially when we go fishing together. Caring for others isn't just my job, it's something I truly love to do.
