My family and I moved to the Des Moines area about 2 years ago for my husband's job. I'm a stay-at-home mom to my amazing 3-year-old son. I love to join him in imaginative play, take frequent trips to the library and playground, and offer him many creative outlets. Prior to becoming a mom, I cared for kids ranging from newborn to junior high in a number of capacities: babysitting, nannying, camp counseling, Sunday school, and youth group.

Karla has been such a blessing for our family and our daughter! Karla has been providing childcare for our 8 month old daughter for the past couple of months. We receive pictures of her throughout the day and Karla keeps notes of when she eats, naps, and has diaper changes. Our daughter always comes home clean and happy and is happy when first seeing Karla in the mornings. We do not have any concerns or worries about our child when she is with Karla which provides us a huge sense of comfort and peace.
