About Karla

I'd describe my personality as caring, dependable, patient. I like working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel confident. I love creating a safe, positive environment where they can have fun, explore, and be themselves. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my experience working with children and families, while continuing to grow professionally in a positive and supportive environment. I started working with kids since I was 16 years old in Sunday School, then AWANA program and finally, 10 years ago in the lab school at Glendale Community College where I began my teaching career. In my spare time, I like to watch my boys play soccer and play the piano. I enjoy family time. One thing you should know about me is that I genuinely love working with children. I'm patient, dependable, and committed to creating a safe, caring, and positive environment. I am loyal and honest. My skills include communication, patience and creativity.
