My name is Karla. I am originally from El Salvador and used to teach English back in 2014. I moved to the U. S. in 2015, and since then I lived in Chicago and Evanston, Illinois, and I have been working as a caregiver. I moved to Maryland last summer. A little about me, I am a mother of an 8-year-old boy, and I love being around kids. As a matter of fact I've been around kids for decades. In addition, I used to be part of children's ministry at church back in El Salvador, where we used to sing, read, and do crafts. Moreover, I am a kind, loyal, organized, energetic, friendly, responsible, warm person. Additionally, I love doing art crafts with the kids, taking them to educational place such as museum, zoo, library, parks, activities, music class, art, sports etc. I am fully COVID vaccinated, CPR certified, and I have a lot of experience working with kids all ages. Karla is a phenomenal and trusted caretaker. As a mother herself, she is able to work with children of all ages. She is remarkably patient, kind, and hardworking. She made instant connection with my son on the autism spectrum and he looks forward for her to come. She got my very picky eater son to try 2 new foods within a month. She finds lots of screen-free play and activities. We have never left our son with anyone but we completely trust to leave him with her. We would highly recommend her!
