My name is Karla. I am originally from El Salvador and used to teach English back in 2014. I moved to the U. S. in 2015, and since then I lived in Chicago and Evanston, Illinois, and I have been working as a caregiver. I moved to Maryland last summer. A little about me, I am a mother of an 8-year-old boy, and I love being around kids. As a matter of fact I've been around kids for decades. In addition, I used to be part of children's ministry at church back in El Salvador, where we used to sing, read, and do crafts. Moreover, I am a kind, loyal, organized, energetic, friendly, responsible, warm person. Additionally, I love doing art crafts with the kids, taking them to educational place such as museum, zoo, library, parks, activities, music class, art, sports etc. I am fully COVID vaccinated, CPR certified, and I have a lot of experience working with kids all ages. Karla worked with our family for five years…caring for our two girls, one from infancy until kindergarten. She cared for their every need including cooking, laundry, light housekeeping, getting them to/from school and appointments. She became like a member of the family and we trusted her completely. She would also care for our family dogs and often would housesit for us when we were away. Karla is honest, hardworking, trustworthy and cares deeply about the children in her care. We miss her every day!
