About Karla

Hello! My name is Karla. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology & Anthropology from Washington State University Class of 2026. I have a strong background in pre-medical sciences (Math, Biology, Chemistry Biochemistry, Genetics, Humanities, and Essay Writing). I am offering tutoring services to k-12 grade levels before I begin my graduate studies next year. I would love to be part of your child's learning journey. I love working with children & teens. I have been a mentor for high schoolers interested in medical professions. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree I worked in medicine as an Ophthalmic Technician. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. By engaging in active listening and observing interactions with new content, I tailor my teaching methods to suit my student's specific needs. I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect concepts to real-world applications. I find great joy in watching a student's confidence grow.
