About Karla

Hello! My name is Karla. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology & Anthropology from Washington State University. I also have a strong background in pre-medical sciences (Math, Biology, Chemistry Biochemistry, Genetics, Humanities, and Essay Writing). I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning, rather than simple memorization. By engaging in active listening and observing interactions with new content, I tailor my teaching methods to suit my student's specific needs. I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect concepts to real-world examples. I believe clear and open communication with both students and families is essential for setting expectations and tracking progress. Whether we are tackling math, science, or study skills, I find great joy in watching a student's confidence grow as they master new subjects.
