About Karla

My name is Karla and I am a caring and experienced childcare provider with over 5 years years of nanny experience as well as a year of tutoring young children. I also currently hold a Bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics, and am happy to assist with mealtimes in any way that would be helpful! When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in open and regular dialogue. I provide verbal updates at pickup, send regular text messages or phone calls to keep parents informed, and always follow their preferred communication methods. I am confident in enforcing household rules and ensuring children's safety. I enjoy playing games that promote imagination and creativity with the children I spend time with, including board games, educational games, and technology-based games and apps ( completely dependent on household rules and usual play schedules)!
