Hi everyone! My name is Karla, I'm 30 years old and have been working with children ages 0-9 for over 10 years. This experience includes summer camp counselor in my younger years, to being a certified Montessori teacher for 5 years, and being a full time nanny for the last 4 years. I have a Bachelor's in education and am an AMS certified Montessori teacher. I've always had a love for working with young children. I had to leave the last family I worked for back in May, because I just had a daughter of my own. Currently taking some time off to be with her but I'm looking to start working full tine in January I have reliable childcare of my own. I pride myself in being very responsible, organized, and have wonderful references. I look forward to chatting to see if we're a good match!

When I think of the perfect person to care for my children, it’s Karla. Not only has she checked all the boxes, but she has gone above and beyond. She is thoughtful, caring, always had my children’s best interest at heart, and gained my trust right away. What stood out about Karla was her prior experience in the classroom. She was always engaging with my children, tailoring activities to their needs, teaching them new things, and pushed them to spend more time outside. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, hard working person to invite into your family, I highly recommend Karla. She was not only our nanny, but a staple in our household. She was apart of our family and we miss her dearly!
