About Karla

I'm passionate about caring for children, with five years of experience as a childcare provider. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, from newborns to 12 years old. As a caregiver, I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified. I believe that play is essential for children's development, so I enjoy playing a variety of games with them, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles. I also like to play educational games that promote learning. With a graduate degree in education, I'm always looking for ways to help children learn and grow. I communicate regularly with parents about their child's day, either through written daily reports or regular updates via text or phone call, whichever the parent prefers. I believe that open communication is essential for building trust and rapport with parents.
