About Karissa

I started working at a primrose franchise just outside of Atlanta in December of 2023 as an assistant preschool teacher (specifically with ages 2-3) I loved my time there as I feel it truly gave me perspective on caring for all different types of personalities in children. I've recently needed to keep a more flexible schedule so I decided to try working with families more independently. I'm looking to provide easy last minute care for parents. One thing to note is that I believe strongly in children having structured daily routines and will be requesting that any child to be in my care have their own list/routine to help me provide a fun and educational day that fits with every child's best interests. I can help with taking out trash, laundry, dishes and simple meal prep for the children while they are in my care. In my free time I enjoy singing, playing guitar and spending time with my loved ones, preferably outdoors!
