About Karissa

My name is Karissa and I've worked in child care for about 7 years now. Mainly caring for kids 3 years old to school age. Working with kids has always been a fun and rewarding experience and working as a preschool teacher has helped me gain a lot of experience with different age groups that has helped me how to be flexible and patient in meeting each child's needs. Ive developed early learning skills through my years in teaching that help with problem solving and providing age appropriate independence. My favorite thing to do with kids is art! I love making crafts and doing projects with kids! I also love to do pretend play with kids, they come up with the best stories to act out. I am CPR certified and First Aid certified. I'm here to provide reliable and caring support to my families.
