About Karissa

Hello, My name is Karissa. I am 20 years old and currently attending NDSU for psych and criminal justice to hopefully one day be a Child Life Specialist! The highlight of my weeks is going to work with all of my children. I work at a 21st century elementary school. I work with kids K-5 everyday. I absolutely love each and every one of my kids. Some responsibilities I maintain are responding to behaviors, cleaning up, using first aid, and making activities for the kids. I am also CPR certified! Although my main age group is K-5 I have also worked with infants and toddlers. I nannied a 5-month-old through the age of 1 year. I fed, changed and put the baby down for naps. I have also nannied a 8 and 10-year-old. This included cooking, driving around, and light house keeping. I also have a huge love for animals. I have mainly worked with dogs, but would love to branch out to other animals as well!
