About Karissa

I'd describe my personality as reliable, compassionate, persistent. Kids bring me joy. I think children deserve a safe and caring environment. I love to get to know each child as they develop. Helping them succeed and grow into the person they are meant to be is so beautiful and important to me. I'm looking for a job that is long term, consistent hours, where I can get along with the family. I love cooking, house keeping, caring for children, random tasks, etc. I started working with kids when I was 12 (2014). However I grew up with 6 young siblings and often took some responsibility in caring for them when they were infants and children. In my spare time, create art, am very physically active, crochet, and cook. I am honest and want to build trust with the parents and children. I am very persistent and have great work ethic and communication skills. I'm strong in behavioral management, developmental activities/creativity, organization/time management.
