About Karis

During my school age years I attended the Boys & Girls Club as well as participated in all types of sports which lead me to receive a full ride track scholarship and eventually participating as the track and field assistant coach. Due to this path my passion has become maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and encouraging and guiding children to do the same. I'd describe my personality as creative, attentive & patient. I started working with children back in 2020 after graduating from college. I started out as a special education para educator for 3 years which has led me to my current position as an elementary school behavior coach. My skills include technical skills such as CPR and first aid training as well as conveying problem solving, time management, creative interaction, healthy habits, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
