Beyond the basic duties of a resident assistant, I focus on building genuine connections with each resident. I make an effort to learn about their interests and challenges, my empathy helps me understand their perspectives, and I use this understanding to mediate conflicts fairly and promote a harmonious living environment. I'm also proactive in identifying potential issues and addressing them before they escalate, ensuring that everyone feels secure and supported. This approach not only enhances the quality of life in the residence but also fosters a strong sense of community and mutual respect. I have worked as a resident assistant for about a year, I moved away but wish to find something to continue my work!
