About Karina

I am highly experienced with caring for children of all ages, with a variety of interests and needs, both in English and Spanish. In high school, I was a TA for elementary and middle schoolers, a theater teacher for elementary and middle school students, a babysitter for a 2-year-old being taught two languages, and worked at a foster agency for almost 5 years. I am currently a Mental Health Intern and therefore am also certified as a Mental Health Aide. I am trained in CPR/First Aid, play therapy, CBT, trauma-informed care, and more for parents who are looking for a specific skillset. Nonetheless, I have an enthusiastic and welcoming energy fit for tender-ages, but I can also have a gentle and therapeutic approach. My goal is for families to have a positive experience with my services, whether it was a one-time interaction, or reoccurring services. Please let me know if you have additional questions!
