About Karina

Hello!! My name is Karina! I'm currently an occupational therapy student completing a clinical rotation here in Prescott. I'm looking for a family that needs help on the weekends (Fri-Sun is my availability). I have quite a bit of experience working with kids. I was a respite caregiver for two boys with autism throughout the didactic portion of my schooling - a position I recently ended since moving. This experience taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and individualized attention while opening my eyes to the joy of playing a part in an individuals childhood! Whether it's helping with homework, organizing fun activities, or creating a calm environment, I do my best to bring empathy and excitement to every family I work with. On top of that, I am a HUGE animal lover - dogs especially hold a big place in my heart! I'm always more than happy to care for pets as part of my job.
