About Karina

My name is Karina, I am a Pre-Med Post-Bac student trying to earn my way through college doing something I truly enjoy. I have obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and I am now integrating this with Pre-Medicine for the sake of pursuing a career as a pediatrician or OBGYN physician assistant or Nurse Practioner. I come from a large family, caring for my younger family members early, coupled with my schooling and multiple college internships I find myself projecting values of independence and self sufficiency to the little ones. I follow Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilio and Waldorf pedogogies and use Dr. Daniel Siegal's "Whole Brain Child" discipline where children exist socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically and holistically. Overall I'm a simple, happy caregiver; I have huge fun energy, a lot of patience and love for children.
