About Karina

Karina is a fantastic babysitter and tutor for my four children, (ages: 3 years, 4 years, 6 years and 8 years old) She has babysat for date nights and tutored all four our kids for the last year. She is responsible, caring, honest, communicative, professional and on-time throughout her employment with our family. She is also open minded in receiving feedback and guidance on how Dad and I would like our children to be cared for, yet still offering her advice based on her experience when watching the development of our children. Our oldest child is autistic, and Karina has always been super sweet, patient and engaging with him, she always takes a genuine interest in his stories about movies and music, suggesting new movies or song for him to try. Our kids can be rumbustious, and she can easily redirect and guide them, she has the most amazing patience, great at handling challenging behaviors, during our date nights we always felt that our children were safe. During our dates she played games and different activities with our kids, watched movies and didn’t let our kids get stuck on tablets while were away for a few hours. She also tutored our three oldest children, she worked on reading, math and learning ASL with my daughter. With our 4-year-old she worked on letter sounds and letter recognition and our oldest helped him learn the concept of money. We loved that each tutoring session was filled with hands on learning and after each session, she would let us know what they worked, how they worked on it on and areas she saw that improved and needed improvement. Our kids absolutely adore her, and our family has been very blessed to have shared the last year with her.
