About Karilyn

I am a caring, patient, and responsible person who truly enjoys spending time with older adults. I have about one year of experience caring for an 85-year-old woman, providing companionship, conversation, help with meals and dressing, meal preparation, and support with daily routines. When she was sick, I stayed by her side and made sure she felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. Spanish is my native language. I speak a little English and I am currently learning and improving. I want to be transparent because trust and honest communication are very important when caring for someone you love. I am trained in CPR and First Aid. Older adults deserve patience, kindness, dignity, and respect. I always try to provide warm, compassionate care and treat each person with the same consideration I would want for someone in my own family.
