About Kari

I'd describe my personality as artistic, empathetic, and supportive. I like tutoring because my heART fills with joy when assisting others to discover their strengths, and awaken to what they're capable of. I'm looking for a job that supports both individual and collective learning; while embracing creativity and encouraging innovative thinking. I started tutoring when I had my student's parents ask for private lessons :) In my spare time, I enjoy creARTing my own pieces; walking in nature; trying new restaurants; reading books to grow my skillsets. One thing you should know about me is that I bring positivity, patience, and dedication to everything I do. My skills include the ability to break down complex ideas to a foundational level and grow from there; personalize each session to day's energy and personality of student; creating a safe, supportive learning environment.
