About Kari

Hello! My name is Kari and here's a bit about me. I'm a mom to two beautiful, grown daughters. I currently work as a cosmetologist and master barber. I love to make people happy, which in turn is extremely fulfilling for me. Over the years, I have cared for my maternal grandmother with Parkinson's disease, my father-in-law with Alzheimer's, and my mother-in-law with pancreatic cancer. My oldest daughter was diagnosed at 8 years old with Type 1 Diabetes, so I am extremely proficient in dealing with her lifestyle, medications and medical equipment. I also love animals. I'm currently a mom to a rescued cat, and have been a dog owner since I was a young child. I am also a food enthusiast and love to cook many different types of cuisines. Overall, I am driven by a genuine desire to help others, the fulfillment that comes from making a positive impact, and the meaningful connections formed through caregiving.
