About Karie

I'm a CA credentialed elementary teacher with over 20 years of classroom teaching experience in Kindergarten, 1st grade & homeschooling. I have my Masters degree in Education with a minor in Music. I last taught at Redding Christian School. I have 4 older children of my own that I raised for the past 22 years. Helping to raise children and create a positive caretaking situation for both the kids and parents is my priority. I can offer high-quality care for up to 3 children, ranging from infants to pre-teens. I'm prepared to assist with meal prep, carpooling, & light housekeeping. I love integrating educational games into our daily routine, alongside outdoor activities & books. I've held a CPR cert for the last 20 years. I'm very comfortable enforcing your household rules and following your preferred communication method to ensure you stay updated on your child's day. I'm truly honored to be a positive influence in your children's lives & look forward to growing alongside your family.
