About Kari

I have a degree in Occupational Therapy and after graduating I did home care for three years full time. I helped people with day to day tasks. I had patients with dementia and Parkinson's. I work full time at a veteran shelter in Rochester but I miss working with elderly. I'd describe my personality as kind hearted, caring, nurturing. I like caring for seniors because they have such knowledge and I love to hear the stories from their life. I'm looking for a job that I can help ease the mind of the family or caregiver, whether that be some food preparation, someone to talk to or someone to help with showers. I don't mind hospice care work either. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my three boys and dog. We go for walks, watch movies, play board games and watch their sports. One thing you should know about me is I love to help! My skills include hospice care, my background in occupational therapy, dementia care.
