About Karen

I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate, and nurturing. I like working with kids because I love their imaginations and to be part of their growth and development. They are so fun and bring me lots of joy! I like to see the world through a child's eyes. I have a 15-month-old son who will be with me. He loves kids! I started working with kids when I was in college; I babysat my younger cousin. I have worked in a church setting and as a nanny for 2 families, 4 years each. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and be outside in nature. One thing you should know about me is I take childcare very seriously and would treat your child as if he or she were my own, with lots of love, safety, respect and patience. My skills include CPR and first aid certification. I also have letters of recommendation that I can share.
