I am at a stage in my life where I am looking for not just a 'job'. It has to be rewarding and fulfilling, for both parties. Something with some fun, I'm a very upbeat person. I take my position seriously, the responsibility of taking care of another human, be it young or older. My experience is as a Nanny, I've been doing it for 5 years. My grandson, the 'baby' is about to embark in preschool. That 'job' was a blessing but makes me sad. Previously I took care of a baby from age 3 months to 1 1/2 years. I just love babies! But the couple needed me more days, The 38 mile commute one way from 2 to 5 days was not an option. As much as I may like babies, I think I would be great at helping older adults, I enjoy elderly people. I make friends easily as people feel they can trust me. I'm outgoing and have no problem doing anything needed. I'm clean, neat, organized. No accidents, a very careful driver. I love to make people feel cared for and special, and make them smile!
