About Karen

The giggles of little ones are music to my ears! As a retired nurse, I miss caring for people. Especially babies and young children. I find immense joy in supporting families. My approach is patient and calm, and I always strive to be friendly and approachable. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, ages newborn to 11, and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents verbally at pickup to provide updates on their child's day. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am CPR and First Aid trained. Having raised my own children, I miss the baby stage and would love the opportunity to care for yours!
