About Karen

Hi! My name is Karen, and I'm 36 years old. I'm a warm, experienced caregiver available for babysitting in Queens, Manhattan, and parts of Brooklyn. I'm currently available in the afternoons, on weekends, and for date nights. I'm a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. I have over 10 years of experience in childcare and teaching, including 5 years as a certified Montessori teacher in both English and Spanish immersion classrooms. I hold a Montessori Early Childhood certification (ages 3-6), and I recently completed my Montessori Infant/Toddler certification. Before moving to the U. S., I worked as a teacher in my home country, where I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to children aged 18 months to 13 years, and Spanish Literature to teenagers. Before the pandemic, I also tutored Spanish to children (ages 5-8) and provided occasional babysitting. I'm CPR certified, responsible, and a non-smoker.
