About Karen

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, mature, and love to laugh! I like tutoring because helping bridge gaps in learning concepts and skills is super helpful to making a child feel more successful and confident. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help children that is flexible. I started tutoring when many, many years ago during summers off from teaching. In my spare time, I like to walk my golden retriever, spend time outdoors, and cross stitch. One thing you should know about me is I take my job very seriously. Communication is very important. My skills include making learning fun, clearly explaining things, and listening to what the students share.
