For over 10 years, I have been helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. My core teaching philosophy is rooted in personalized support, fostering a love for learning, and empowering students to develop critical thinking skills. I actively listen and observe to understand each student's unique learning style, adapting my methods with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, breaking down complex problems, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is key, and I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home. I am a certified special educator with 13 years classroom experience, including a year abroad in South Korea teaching ESL. I am comfortable tutoring at various locations and can help with Math, English, Test Preparation, Art, Sports & Fitness, Special Education, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students.
