About Karen

I started working with kids when I was 17. I worked as a classroom aid with infants. I continued to build my education in early childhood education until I became a preschool teacher at 21. I worked as a preschool teacher for ages 2-5. Then I continued my education and worked for the school district at the elementary school level as a special education advocate. From there I kept advancing and worked with middle school as student advocate. My most recent experience has been as a graduation specialist for high school students. While in this role I had a 100% graduation rate. I have continued my education and I am working on becoming a speech and language pathologist. I have worked with students, ages 0-21. It has been a thrill to see so much progress and growth at every stage in a students life. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and pets. I enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us. While at home I enjoy reading and crafting with different medias.
