I have 10+ years experience with children. I am Peruvian and I volunteered at 2 daycare centers in Peru Saturday-Sunday and taking care of 50 kids various ages (also newborn babies and kids with special needs) with responsibilities such as: meal preparations, feeding them, changing diapers, giving showers, transportation to parks, giving bible-classes, arts and crafts and activities. During the weekday I worked taking care of a 80-year-old woman who suffered 4 strokes, she was wheelchair-bound. My responsabilities were: feeding her, showering, helping with physical therapy, changing diapers and clothing, transporting her to places for quality of life in her last years. Once a month I would visit children in the hospitals that had various diseases such as cancer or heavy-critical injuries to provide support in many ways for about 5 years.

Karen is the first person my husband and I have had watch our 3 month old baby girl that wasn't one of our moms. As many parents know, leaving your baby can be nerve wracking, but as soon as I saw Karen interact with my daughter, I felt at ease. I love the way I feel when I see Karen with my daughter, and my daughter absolutely loves Karen too. Karen is extremely nurturing and intuitive, she cares for my daughter as I would. Every baby is different, but Karen has proved to be a quick learner. She figured out some of the tips and tricks of soothing my daughter before I even had an opportunity to tell her. Bottom line... I trust Karen with my daughter and know that she is taking care of her as she took care of her own children and granddaughter. We love you Karen!
