My experience with clients has been with both young children and older adults. Cared for children with issues such as: on dialysis awaiting transplant, bleeding disorders, Chiari recovery post surgery, ADD/ADHD, Mild Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Heart murmur, seizure disorders, Batten Disease. Past caregiver of adults who suffered from: Parkinson's Disease, Psychosis, Stroke, COPD, Alzheimers, Kidney Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, Cancer, Mobility Impairments. Carry out duties according to family and/or medical supervisor instructions as to medication doses, hygiene, feeding, toileting, activities tolerated. Assisted with transport to doctor appointments. Stayed a temporary extended period for family to break away to travel out of town for an event.
