About Karen

Caring for children has always been a meaningful part of my life. As the oldest sibling in a close-knit Latina family, I began helping care for my younger brother at age 10 and later supported my mom in raising my little sister, who is now 8. I've also cared for my younger cousins (ages 5-8), so I'm confident managing routines and creating a safe, structured, and loving environment. Growing up in a Latino household instilled in me strong family values - respect, responsibility, patience, and the importance of showing up for one another. I'm very hands-on at home and regularly help with cooking and cleaning, and I prepare meals for myself and my siblings. I'm happy to assist with light housekeeping, tidying up after activities, and preparing simple, nutritious meals for the children. I have reliable transportation and am dependable, punctual, and organized.
