About Karen

I adore children, my first job after high school graduation was for an airline stewardess in the Seattle area. I also worked for 2 families of 4boys, a family of 5 girls, a young couple in Chicago with 1year old twins, a couple in Portland that worked long hours for Providence Hospital with 1girl, (my very first day was her 1st birthday, I stayed until she was 6!). I worked for different family's for 5 years in Portland and Vancouver. I worked for 3 school districts for 7 years in classrooms, on the playgrounds, some custodial, tutoring and mentoring, my favorite being "Young Readers" classrooms as I am a theatrical reader. I worked in a church nursery Sundays and Wednesdays during the 6 years of school classrooms and also owned and managed a portrait studio doing a lot of dance/sport related portraits and videos. I have 2children of my own that are grown. I have a Nevada Child Work Card that includes a federal background check and CPR. And 2years w/ 3 child care agencies in Las Vegas.
