My baby book says, "6 months old--loves animals." I grew up with birds, rabbits, and a dog, and my career was in animal protection. Along the way, I rescued and cared for 12 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 mice (and fostered 2 goats). I'm used to caring for animals with special needs, and l have a soft spot for elderly animals. I'm retired and don't have any other obligations, so l can now devote myself full-time to your animals. I'm compassionate, conscientious, and meticulous. I find animals beautiful, endearing, relatable, and fascinating. I offer house-sitting but not dog-walking, so the best matches for me are animals who can go out into a fenced yard to relieve themselves or who don't need to go outside. l adopted my first dog in 1980. Over time, l learned about humane dog training and holistic animal care and ended up the point person on these topics at my job. l will devote myself to your animals' wellbeing and happiness in your absence and also take meticulous care of your home.
