About Karen

As a tutor, my goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. I have a college degree and three years of experience helping elementary and middle school students excel in English, Science, Computers, and History. By actively listening and observing how students learn, I adapt my methods to suit their needs. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems to build momentum. Communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to students and parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am First Aid trained. I would love to help your student succeed, whether online, at the library, or in your home!
