About Karen

I am a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with more than 40 years of experience. My specialty is neurology. From Autism to Alzheimer's I have taken care of families loved ones. I am a caring, compassionate person, knowing I help make a difference in the individuals I take care of is very important to me. I have a wonderful sense of humor and I do believe that laughter is the best medicine. I have worked in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, Alzheimer Community Care Ctr, and a school. Each and every job has been rewarding and has made me the kind of individual I am today. I am also a lover of animals. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and they are an important part of my family. Although I have recently retired, I still feel I have a lot to offer. I welcome the chance to still make a difference, and look forward to continue doing so.
