About Karen

Currently, I have a 6-month-old and am primarily looking for part-time work out of my home As one of six children, with 17 nieces and nephews, I've been around and in a caring role for children since I was very young. I started babysitting when I was 13, and since have experienced casual intermittent sitting to tutoring to full-time nanny positions. I'm experienced with all ages, from a few weeks up to 13 years old, and am comfortable watching multiple children at once. I'm a fun-loving nanny, and I love to engage in crafts, games, books, and outdoor activities with the kids I've been privileged to care for. I strive to create a safe and well-disciplined environment where kids can express their creativity in their favorite ways. I love working as a nanny, and have had many wonderful experiences with the children and families that I have worked for in the past. In addition, I have also worked as an elementary Special Education teacher, working with 24 children K-6.
