About Karen

For the past two years I have had the joy of working as a nanny to three families on a regular basis. The children range in age from 6 months to 11 years. In addition, I have spent over a decade working in the childcare at my church, nurturing little ones from 3 months to 6 years old. This has given me a lot of experience with various age groups. I really enjoy spending time with children playing games, reading books, doing arts & crafts, having fun outdoors, and more. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing their little imaginations grow during play time. Beyond childcare, I am able to help with homework, laundry, light housekeeping, and more. As a mother and grandmother, I understand the challenges of balancing work and family life, and I would enjoy being the extra helper to you! I'd describe my personality as happy, calm, friendly. I started working with kids when I was a Girl Scout leader for my children for years, and classroom helper at their school.
