About Karen

I have relocated to the Virginia Beach area from Massachusetts. I previously spent my time in Boston as a companion to several older family members and friends. I like caring for seniors because I am getting older myself and take comfort in helping others. I have watched many family members and friends around me need extra help and it gives me a sense of satisfaction being able to help. I love to talk to and listen to others and I find that sometimes that is the most important thing when helping seniors. I'm looking for a job that is within the Hampton Roads area. I am mainly hoping to be a companion to seniors who are looking for someone to sit with them and/or drive them to and from errands. As a senior myself I began to have fellow friends and family begin aging and needing help with various aspects of their day to day life. In my spare time, I like to read, sit at the beach, play mahjong with friends, spend time with my grandchildren.
