I've had a love for seniors since I was a child. Eight years ago I attended KSU and earned my CNA (certified nursing assistant). My education paired with my love for seniors has proven a great combination. Since then I've had the privilege to meet many families. I've worked with seniors facing difficult diagnoses such as Parkinson's, cancer, dementia and Alzheimer's, and have also cared for those in hospice. The main service I provide is helping with ADL's (activities of daily living). I also support families by completing housekeeping, meal preparation, medication supervision and transportation to dr visits. As a caregiver I desire to create opportunities for seniors to tell their life's stories. This allows them to be heard and helps them see that they matter and still have a lot to offer. In creating these opportunities their spirits are lifted and their physical well being is improved. I would love the opportunity to meet your family and discuss ways I can best serve you.

Karen has been caring for my Mom for almost a year. My Mom is 89 and has dementia. Karen helped with her daily activities of living and also provided sweet and kind companionship. I have been coordinating my Mom’s care in Georgia from Virginia. While this is challenging, I have found Karen to be completely trustworthy and reliable. My Mom is now going to assisted living and Karen offered to go visit her. She truly loves caring for seniors and I highly recommend her.
