While attending college, I completed postpartum doula training and began assisting families with newborns and toddlers. At Namaste Yoga & Wellness, I volunteered as a baby holder during postpartum yoga-fulfilling my purpose while allowing mothers to reconnect with themselves. For two years, I led a team of baby holders that I trained and scheduled twice weekly. We cared for up to 20 babies using props to keep infants content during classes. Witnessing mothers' peace of mind blossom was magical. Many mothers formed bonds with me and invited me into their homes for babysitting, turning volunteer work into income.
