About Karen

Hello! My name is Karen. I am 31 years old, bilingual in Spanish and English, and have an Associates of Science in Physics from Jefferson State. My experience with kids started at around 15, doing small babysitting jobs for family and friends here and there. My main experience began around 10 years for the first family I nannied for, I was with them around 4 years. During I that time, I was a part-time nanny to a then 6-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy. Occasionally, I helped with homework, took them to activities, and picked them up from car- pool. I also cleaned and helped with laundry, dinner/lunch prep. After that, as of the last 6 years, I have been with my second family. I help mornings getting the girls get ready for school. Afterwards, I help with laundry, basic cooking, and picking up groceries, as well as driving to and from all kinds of activities. I also help the girls' grandma and puppy occasionally. That being said, I am very comfortable with pets since I have my own!
