Karen not only met the needs of my bed-fast husband, but also turned into a friend for me; she took time to listen to me 'vent' and encouraged me. With my husband, she did all she could to not only provide necessities but also served as an actual companion for him - watching his favorite "Blue Bloods" on TV with him!
